We work collaboratively with NGOs, Corporates, Socially-Conscious brands and the Public Sector to deliver campaigns and solutions that serve a higher mission, inspiring positive change in communities, culture, and sustainability. The Citizens

Led by Nqobile Simelane, NQ, a seasoned Marketing and Communications Specialist with 19 years of experience across diverse sectors such as Non Profit, FMCG, Advertising, Finance, Entertainment, and Political Marketing. Holding a BA in Marketing Communication from the University of Johannesburg, she has a strong track record in developing and executing integrated, consumer-centric brand activation strategies underpinned by creative messaging and data-driven performance analytics. Having worked extensively with national and global brands such as Afrika Tikkun, Coca-Cola, DSTV, AB INBEV, Standard Bank, Nedbank Eswatini, and others, Nqobile brings a rich perspective shaped by agency and client-side experiences. Her roles span strategic brand development, experiential activations, and multi-platform campaign management, always with an emphasis on growing brand equity and driving measurable business results. Driven by a deep desire to combine her broad experience across sectors and brands, Nqobile is focused on moving into more purposeful work that amplifies brand reach while creating meaningful, measurable social impact. She is passionate about leveraging marketing and communications as tools to build authentic connections and inspire change — aligning brand purpose with performance to create sustainable value for communities and stakeholders alike. Her experience in representing brands from both the agency and client side, have given her a competitive strategic edge, in the development of 360° creative solutions that drive real impact
